crapping myself as I have no idea what to get anyone for Christmas. I hate the whole present thing!

I know, right?

I really do love the "spirit of giving" and it can be a great thing to give and receive gifts at Christmas, but the pressure and expense and the crowds and the overspending and the insane overuse of credit cards... It can suck. We do the Kris Kringle thing now so we only have to buy one gift for an extended family member, plus gifts for the kids in the family and your partners. Takes some of the unnecessary pressure off.

What I'm doing right now... Waiting for the person who was "just dropping this off, I'm not staying" to GO HOME so I can eat my damn dinner. Fuck's sake! Newborn baby, it's dinner time, you weren't staying. AND YET THERE YOU ARE ON MY COUCH.

Sorry bout that, I feel better now that it's outta my system.

On my last break, regretting eating the free doughnuts/croissonts/hedgehogs/cupcakes etc. supplied free at work today.

Only over eating. My sister's birthday today, we had homemade cake, and absolutely no regrets!

Bugger all! My bf isn't well and I'm mega tired so for the first time in forever we are just being lazy bums and doing nothing all day. All I've done is go to the chemist for him and made some bitching potato and cabbage soup with crispy bacon on top
