Inspiration. I've been in a total dark hole lately and last night at 3am at work I had a wonderful moment of enlightenment. It's been a long time since that has happened.

So this past weekend I helped put on a collaborative experimental film, music, acting, and opera show for my department at school. One of my pieces was shown, a found footage piece that I edited from the original Lost World silent film, with musical accompaniment from this noise/ambient music group called the Chuppers. They make instruments out of like old typewriters and iPod docks and toy speakers and stuff. Like a hundred people showed up, which for the event was a really good turnout. It was awesome to have so many people see my work and and to have such an awesome group accompany it. Turned out awesome, and made me feel really good. We also had two live side projections, one of the audience and one of a decorated diorama, and my Ziltoid puppet starred for a bit in the diorama. 'Twas cool :)

Man, I don't know why I feel so compelled to say this, but... LIFE.

Every aspect of life for me is been vastly improving. I'm Losing weight, music is coming back into my life more so than ever. I've been saving money for the TRC, I've been watching a bunch of inspiring documentaries and on top of all of that, I see awesomeness in people. My family, friends, artists, you guys here. I mean, Juz just had a child and is on the road to becoming an awesome father, Sylkicks created a whole mess of awesome, everyone is doing the hangouts and are riding that Devember high. FUCKING AWESOMENESS EVERYWHERE. I know it sounds super lame and irrelevant at the moment, but man. All of this positivity and good vibes coming from all of these directions has got me feeling dizzy and inspired. If you take a look around and disconnect from all of the horrible things going on in the world for just a moment, you find this incredible ray of light that everybody is shining down.

Sorry for the randomness, but you don't here very many people say this these days, but I'm saying it.

Everything is just... AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!

I loved reading that, seriously.

Life can throw you some really Biebery curveballs sometimes but if you see your way through all that it can reward you in the most inspiring, unimaginable ways possible.

I've always found the most beautiful experiences exist in the most mundane of things. They're what make my life worth living and they are always, always there if you're just prepared to look.

I'm very happy for you mate. :D

Stu, you're rad bro. Like JuZ said, there's so much shit in the world it's hard to see the good things, of which there are many. But most people are such negative creatures they feel content with only seeing negatives. It really takes a special type of person to sit and actually realize, and acknowledge, all the blessings they and those in their life are given. So thanks man, really-- it's more than great to be reminded of that, as everyone is prone and sometimes built to steer towards Negative Nelly-ness.

And what Faffy said :D

Another awesome thing, Roger Waters is touring the Wall this coming Spring/early summer, and is coming to Phoenix three days after I graduate from college. Then three days after that Rammstein is going to be there as well. Parents said a trip out there with the concerts can be part of my graduation present, which makes the trip for the most part free, so... awesome! Can't wait, the Wall and Rammstein in one week? Yesssssss

By the way...love the "happy-awesome-positive" vibe here lately...
Seeing Mayhem tonight. That should be strange. And hopefully awesome. Not my most favorite of black metal bands, but they are classic, so have to see them, right? :)
