Remember when I told how I was sick for month a few weeks back? Well I missed a week of school because of it. Then I had to see a doctor (a date that I had been waiting for half a fucking year because of some idiot nurses fuck up) because of my left knee and foot having been shit for years. If I had missed that meeting and not got a paper telling I'm unable to go to the military I would probably have ended up in jail. For the very least I would've had some issues with the military.

Well it turns out that I missed a crucial two weeks of my studies and that... wait for it... set back my graduation by TWO FUCKING YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the fuck?!?!? Because I was sick? I'm going to have a heart attack. EVERYTHING goes wrong this year. This is ridiculous. It's like I accidentaly crushed an ant-reincarnation of buddha and bad karma has decided to make me insane by throwing tiny pieces of shit at me. Fuck this.

That's actually the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. How can two weeks missed add up to a two year delay?? Did they explain the logistics of it to you? Surely no small period could really be so important as to have that sort of long-term impact... Really hope you can find some sort of alternate way around it, man.

Already sort of did. It actually sets me back only one year but in my rage-panic I didn't realise that. But I still have to make sure of bunch of things before all this is clear. If all goes well this'll turn out to be only mildly annoying. Some parts of the university are moving and I can't take the courses I missed until 2013.

i collect books on religion and psychology that are dubious in nature. picked this dear little thing up yesterday at the thriftstore and it's by far the most suitable piece in my collection yet. i guess that actually qualifies as awesome, but it's a bummer to me.

One time my father, who was a construction worker at the time. He operated a bulldozer at an the biggest airport in my state, which is one of the busiest in the country, came home after a fourteen hour night shift. He was home for maybe an hour and he gets a call telling him to come back in for another twelve hour shift. I have no clue how they thought that would be safe. Nothing happened, it was just a ridiculous situation.
