He deserves it!

Still, anyone know whether Dev gets a decent chunk of the VIP ticket price, or whether the venue etc take most of it?

I don't think it really has anything to do with the venue, as it's mostly just stuff. Stuff I want though, so yeah.

Has there been any information about Addicted and Deconstruction shows, anyone? Dev? I've already bought my tickets for Ki and Ghost and now I'm just looking forward to buying tickets for those 2 shows also. And we've already booked our hotels and flights too so I hope shows will be between 10th and 13th of November. :)

Can't wait can't wait can't wait.

Argh, Opeth + Pain of Salvation in London clashes with the Ghost show - I knew the metal gods had given me all my scheduling luck for the acoustic shows. Oh well, sorry PoS, one of these years the stars will align and I'll finally get to see you live

Loving the order in which those two are listed - now that's prioritising!

Opeth rolls through London all the time, Pain of Salvation not as often. Special shows vs. another show seems like no contest at all.

But that's just me.

I'm also seeing them and Katatonia in Rocktober as long as it doesn't conflict with Dev's US tour

I was planning on getting tickets to that Opeth show in London, but I wouldn't be up for trekking it all the way back 3 days after I go up for Ki.

special shows on the whole do win out and yes opeth come through fairly often... but I missed the royal albeet hall gig, I missed the gig with DT et al, and I missed them at download festival (ended up being coerced into watching korn) and so the last time i saw them was about 3/4 years ago... ouch

i'm going to be at decon and I guess I'd just prefer seeing opeth than seeing the ghost show when I've already seen dev the exact same week.... if I wasn't getting decon ticket than I would prob be at ghost.

LOLETH.

Only death will stop me attending these shows. Other bands popping through are surely such a regular occurrence in London that whoever it is will probably be back within a year or two anyway... these shows are once-in-a-lifetiiiime!
