Emailed Crowdsurge about this, and got the following reply:

I'm afraid we have been asked to limit the amount of tickets for the Devin Townsend Project to 4 per household for the tour regardless of the type of ticket being purchased.

If you able to, I would suggest purchasing the tickets under a different account with a different shipping address then you will not receive that error message.

... which I've now done and has worked . Hope others find this useful.

The VIP tickets seem to be only available for collection at the venue - looks like they don't actually ship them, so a different shipping address shouldn't matter.

Bought my Ki and Ghost tickets from Seetickets so it shouldn't be an issue for me, maybe. They've still not arrived though :\

I'm amazed at the limit though, I know the venues are small and that...but I don't think DTP are in THAT much of tout demand....

The VIP's are too richly priced for my bank account too... Hopefully this won't mean that Dev won't be out and about the venues before and after the shows like he's been doing since he started touring again.
