It's pretty straight forward in structure compared to the other songs that are very chaotic and changing. That doesn't take away from their greatness at all. Just having something a little linear and accessible is a nice moment in this complex album.

The main riff, beat, "hey now" and "shower the world" chorus parts all paint a huge picture to soak in for bit before things deconstruct some more. There's a lot of incredible riffs and themes in the album, but most are pretty fleeting and don't get a chance to soak in. The nostalgic/dreamy music box sound with it's sudden injection is pretty powerful. It gives a moment to breath and relax for Paul's outro that's really beautiful.
I spliced it out and use it as my ring tone.

I think that's where part of the problem is for me. By the time Planet of the Apes is finished, I'm so acclimated to all the complexities in Decon that anything linear would feel completely out of place.

The main riff doesn't really hit me as hard as some of the other stuff on the album. But palm-muted triplets don't do it for me like they did in the past. As for the "shower the world" section, I know there's a picture here, but I can't visualize it. I'm a visual listener. If I can't "see" something in the music for whatever reason, I have a more difficult time grasping it.

Mine's still Supercrush (and has been since I got the phone...which was also the same day Addicted got leaked), I might change it to Pandemic...or an edit....basically something mega loud that will make me hit the ceiling with fright when it rings.

Hello lettuce, thanks for the flowers! I'm pretty sure your sister's dog and I aren't related.

I was told to set them at 64 kbps, but is it safe to use a higher setting?

My ringtones usually sound like crap.

Mine is 192kbps, sounds good.

Ah! That's better!
Thanks!

I think it's safe to say you're definitely not a dog, cause you can play guitar and dogs simply arn't dexterous enough for the task. And I think she'd have done a less than substantial job on Deconstruction.

You could seriously set them at 32Kbps and not hear a difference, considering 99% of phones speakers are fractions of an inch.
