Praise the Lowered and the beginning of Stand ease you into the workout (your warmup), then when the heavy part of Stand kicks in you can powerlift about 500 lbs - just from the sheer omniscient adrenaline that you have. During the title track, you can really start sprinting hard (or pedaling fast) when the "Hit it" freakout part comes in. Really, it doesn't matter what track it is. It all keeps you pumped!

Yup. Honestly, I only work out to SYL. Decon has been a welcome addition to my playlist.

Yeah, that's the usual problem with new albums by Devin. It takes some time before you can listen to other bands and they don't sound boring :D

Totally agree! I listened to Alien from start to finish the other day and even that seems lackluster after listening to Decon so much and becoming acclimated to it. It will indeed take some time to get used to "normal" music again. That's why we need Ghost! Maybe "Ghost" should be called "Decontamination."

Okay, I have to share a conversation I had with my brother the other day.

Me: Hello?
Brother: Dude, do you know what this thing [Deconstruction] is doing to me?
Me: Um... what?
Brother: It is ripping my balls out and shoving them down my throat! And instead of me shitting those balls out, they go back to where they came from and are twice as big!
Me: So you like it then?
Brother: Hell yeah! Okay, I gotta go. Bye. *click*

I've been trying to find music that's more than just a guy screaming "FUCK" into a microphone. Looks like I finally found something he likes!

The Dev wrote:Florian did the arrangements for choir and orchestra, I wrote the parts.

He basically got a demo of the way I wanted it to sound with midi notation, lyrics, and me singing the choir parts, then he wrote the notes out in a way the musicians can understand.

Flo was a huge help in getting the orchestral elements lined up. It's his specialty and I would have been meekly conducting a high school band if it weren't for him.

Hail Flo!

Hail yerself master! :D

Also Mike St-Jean was a great help with the choir transcriptions and lyrics (it was so much stuff!!!). So, Hail Mike and his 2 turntables!
