I'm doing a stop motion music video for an awesome band! The singer scuttled up to me last night before their gig and said "I HAVE A VISION...and I need you in on it."

So I've sent him away to draw the characters, storyboard the video and decide how many scenes there'll be. I've summoned my weirdy ex-vegan friend who rocks at puppet armatures and animation mechanics, we've got all the equipment to film with, and the studio is currently being built...so shit's happening! And it's gonna be MY project! No crappy coffee errands for me! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It'll be a looooong project, but it'll totally rock. Unfortunately the weirdy ex-vegan is the most pessimistic character I've ever met, so while he's game for working on the video; everything's all doom and gloom. Highly tempted to get the armatures online and only call him in when I'm desperate.

Took the boat back to Bergen yesterday, listening to Terria whilst in fjords and shit. Supersunny, 20 degrees. Teh bliss. Then at 4 pm we started drinking in the park, and at 11 pm we went to a dubstep gig (3 DJs) and danced for 4 hours. Haven't experienced dubstep like that before, it was insane. And awesome!

Thoroughly enjoying this easter sunday... Panned out in the back garden with Prexy drinking whiskey and vodka, eating shitloads of chocolate and we made cheesecake and have biscuits and all sorts of other niceties and my mates are coming around in a while for more drink and then we're all going to a gig tonight which is gonna be fucking daaaaaaaaaaaycent.

Had a great weekend in Melbourne. Caught Stephen K Amos and Doc Brown's shows at the comedy festival, ate curries and roasts and caught up with family for a breakfast by the Yarra river and a row up the river with my lovely wife.
