Heh. Leonard Nimoy.

His narration of the Loch Ness Monster was probably the most compelling.

oh wow, this is cooool!

I am really into all of this, despite all my fears towards all sorts of weird and unknown.
but it's the possibility (for these to really be a part if our lives) and curiosity that gets the best of me.
I do believe there are ETs out there, it would be selfish not to think so.
There certainly are monstrous things lurking in the depths of the seas around us.
Ghosts do exist in my books, since there is no heaven or hell for me, only the afterlife or the time in between until your part is done or your soul finds peace.
For me, all of us hold the body and the soul. I call it soul because that's the most common name for it. Spirit sounds a bit.. weird, so I'll go with the soul.
it's not mind either, because mind is something you think with, soul is the part that feels the feelings during your life.
And if the soul part feels something was left undone or something bothers it, it's the part that stays on this side of life until the task gets completed.
I hope I explained it the way I meant to :D
Like now when gramps passed, I have been looking for him while I'm asleep, hoping not to see him, because I wouldn't want his soul to feel restless and out of peace.
I talked to grandma, and she said she saw a dream where she and my other dog (who both love each other to bits) were walking in a forest, on a small path that lead to this small pond.
In the pond, there was the most beautiful swan she had ever seen.
The swan nodded once, and she felt at peace and slowly turned back to Mushu (the dog), who smiled at her.
Grandma said that it had to be gramps, it had felt like it in the dream.
She has been sleeping well and it has been such a joy for us all that she came over gramps' passing so well.
But I think the dream helped also..
And she has all of us for support and company :)

I love all these ghost hunting and "discovering the unknown" shows, even though I get really scared watching them :D
After watching "White Noise" (with Kevin Bacon?) I had to do numerous of things before I could turn off the tv without freaking out :D
I know the ending is a bit weird, but..
But when you fear these kind of things, the movies and documentaries can be a little silly and still "do the trick".

(BTW, the funeral is on friday 18th of this month. I am a bit anxious about it.)

Funerals are not fun, usually, but do offer a way to say goodbye.
