I still get a little emotional listening to Kid A. I should check out the new one.

The King of Limbs << Kid A. Also, I can't help but imagine this every time I hear the single.

I'm confused. So, Kid is a doubly as great as King of Limbs, or King of Limbs is a direct descendant of Kid A?

He's like me. He thinks the wide bit at that side of the lying down V means it's getting bigger than the thing it left and therefore better. Although usually I have to stare at those lying down Vs for a long time to figure out what the heck they mean. I've been told lots of times but I still don't get it.

This symbol means x "greater than" y: x > y
It can also be read as y "less than" x.
This symbol means x "much greater than" y: x >> y
It implies that y is almost completely ignorable when compared to x. If you flip the symbols around, their meaning doesn't change--just which quantity is greater/lesser. My point is that The King of Limbs is (to me) entirely unremarkable, whereas Kid A still blows me away sometimes.

Keeker, you can think of them like little alligator mouths. Alligators are hungry, so they always want to eat the biggest meal they can. So, whichever side the alligator mouth is open to must be bigger, since that alligator is so hungry. At least, that's how I explain it when I tutor kids...

I think someone played the same math video game as I did in elementary school in the 80s...

LOL! OMG that is just too much... :D And yes, Kid A IS a much greater album...but I haven't listened to them in so long the similar vibe took me back in time a bit.

Have a barrel of cider that is about a third full and going to go bad if not used up quickly. Working on that. Pretty psychedelic stuff. One year a heap of mushroom were added to one barrel and then they were all muddled up so it was Somerset version of Russian roulette every time you had a pint.

Floaty head numbness beginning to kick in now, which is good and offsetting achey shrieking back muscles from building livestock fencing all week.

Bouncing audio for individual drums for a song in Pro Tools.

They really need to sort out being able to bounce in NON-real time.

I thought there was a function like that. Or may be me being silly. Cubase can do both, yay!

Nope :( I read why, somewhere, but it was a bit technical and I can't remember...

What's even more annoying, is that if you open a different window (e.g. Surf the net in between bounces, rather than stare at a time countdown over and over) - If you realised you made a mistake and need to restart the bounce (e.g. Accidently* leave the first rack tom solo'd when all you want is the Hi Hat, like I just did) - You can't stop it by pressing Escape (unless, like I said, you sat and stared at the countdown up until realising the mistake), and have to wait it out until it completely finishes to do it all over again.

*Accidently or Accidentally?
