Just streamed the new Family Guy episode. Still laughing, and wondering how many complaints that finale is going to generate.

No, it does not help. I've just gotten into this weird habit of drinking soy milk, listening to Ki, and spending the waking time on the computer. Happens a lot, but I've gotten used to it. :)

Petal, if you got insomnia, you gotta turn all your electrical stuff off. Computers, tellys, etc. will make excessive noise/heat that will bother you (besides, sitting on the computer all night just keeps your brain more active). Get some black-out curtains, have a warm bath and a cup of camomile tea before bed!

*barges in front of Dan to say something unimportant*

I personally use Superior Drummer 2.0 - Check it out if you don't know of it already, it's great. There are extra sample packs and things for metal too, though I've not tried those out myself, but for fake drums, even the barebones version is great.

I use SD 2.0 aswel but the velocity is kinda weird. Every cymbal hit sounds like it's hit on a differend angle each time.

I guess its just meant to make it more human. Have you tried the extra metal pack things? (Metal Foundry or whatever) - They might be better with that sort of thing.
