Oh, I'm a noob, dude. I'm halfway through "The Colour Of Magic" right now, and also reading A huge Jules Verne book (4 of his novels, one of which is 20,000 leagues) and a Heinlein novel at the same time.

I just got excited because Discworld is hilarious. It's not only clever, it's incredibly genre-saavy, and is great at lampshading.
