I havent pre-ordered.
Im not buying anyhing until the box-set.
Ill still download with a clear conscience.
I wonder what Dev really thinks about my behaviour.
Am I a thief? A "temporary-thief"?
What about the high-income-fan who only pays normal price although he could easily afford 10 times that sum?
Do I really have to buy a record?
Wouldnt it be better for the environment if I just paypal'ed Devin, downloaded the flac-rip off some site and listened to it in all its glory?
Is it really a good thing that everyones buying the uber package with all those hoodies? Who made those? What will they cost the world in shipping-emissions and child-labor before they are even worn? (disclaimer; that thing about child-labor has most probably nothing with these specific hoodies to do if Devin lives up to what I expect from him but it's a "typical" child-labor possible item)
And yes, this post is probably a little bitter but its full of good intentions and wishes for a better world. Im actually quite Addicted to the whole planet in all its increasing entropy.
Not just Addicted to Addicted. And KI, and Hummer and Punky Bruster and...
So stoked about all that guitar talk btw. Mmmm Guitars...
You're acting like a baby though. Talking like that isn't gonna change the world in the slightest. Personally, I don't care who made the hoodies, and I don't care how much the cds hurt the environment. We'll all die one day anyways, and no matter how famous anyone is, in the end we don't mean sh*t. Nothing you do will ever matter, cause we're all just stupid insects who try to think big things to make ourselves look smarter and more civilized. Sure, I'd like child labor to stop. But even if we took IMMEDIATE HARD action, we won't see it in our lifetimes. So, live life, laugh and poop. The End

So what you're saying is that if something is hard to do it's not worth doing? That's a nice philosophy. This might be the first time on this board that I got a little offended by someone's post. Feel free to take this personally.
We're all stupid insects? Oh REALLY?!? How many species can communicate with each other as well as we can? How many species you could call intelligent with a straight face? Why don't you show me where there is life outside this planet?
What you're implying in your post is that you don't care if we fuck up the environment or not. You're implying that you'd forget and disrespect billions of years of evolution and just fucking delete all life from earth, just because of you're own greed and lazyness.
Please don't say things that stupid again.
OceanMachine15 wrote:Well, you caught me. You're right. I don't care if we fuck up the environment. And yes, I will disrespect and forget billions of years of evolution. And yes, we are stupid insects. If you honestly believe there isn't life out there, you're the ost ignorant person to ever post. So many galaxies, and planets, and universes, and not ONE of them has even ONE species on it? Moronic of you if you ask me. Anyways, we're all dead in sixty years anyways. It sucks, but hey, shit happens. I'd rather die young then get old, but I'm the type of person who looks before he leaps, so unless I'm at the wrong place at the wrong time (mall shooting, terrorist attack), I'm gonna get old. Just gotta grin and bear it and as they say in Zombieland, don't forget the little things. Other countries are so keen in saying what happens in America is our problem, so what happens in their countries (sweat shops) is theirs. Sierra Leone was a travesty and abomination, but it's finally ending (if not already over) but in the end you just have to look at life and be happy.
