Some unexpected BS came up today, almost done though, should be up tommorow.

Addicted is a cool, easy on the ears version of the style people have known from me on the solo front. It's not super surprising, but really good. The lyrics make it for me. With the 4 records of the dtp, I want it to be a summary of everything, from o.m through syl et al... a new 'best of' if you will. Deep into Deconstruction now, so much material to sort through, a very 'free' record though...pretty lofty reach, we'll see how it pans out. Addicted, on the other hand, is crankable and party equipped.

...and yeah, I did my absolute best...got the shingles to prove it.

i'm sooo fucking curious. I don't think Addicted will disappoint anybody.. but I can clearly understand that Devin feels some pressure right now

can't wait for him to tour, I already motivated some people to listen to his albums and they gladly enjoy - unfortunately (?) Devin's music is not as popular as it could be. But maybe that could change with Century Media promoting his stuff.
2010 will be a very very VERY good year musically

Unless you've cast away the instruments and immersed yourself into 90's British boyband sounds...I think I'll love the album Ki was definately a grower for me, which is better than something I instantly like, because over time I will like it more and more, and listen to it more and more!

This 4-album project is very exciting, and I appreciate you sharing the experience with us on the forum!

As much as I also look forward to hearing it, I can't help but think people are really overhyping the release in their minds, getting all worked up about it, and setting themselves up for a disappointment.

I don't mean I think its going to be disappointing, but the way a lot of people seem to be thinking only leads to a high expectation, which the final product may or may not deliver.
If you just settle down, it probably will exceed your expectations....

Sometimes it's worth it to be patient....


that said, from what I've heard from the youtube clips sounds really cool, I like it a lot, and is uniquely Devy.

Supercrush, Universe in a Ball and Resolve all sound way too good so... I don't think I'm overhyping. I'm stoked.
