That's actually very plausible...
How did you come up with that?

My thoughts are that JohnMatt is not insane, he's just smarter than us. :)

This whole concept of four albums, standing together as one is something truly fantastic. It helps to understand, who really is Devin Townsend and what way he took in his life.

How much do you wanna beat that this is going to be the best Devin Townsend album thus far?

I predict a Terria in quality, an Ocean Machine in awesomeness, and an Accelerated Evolution in intellect.

Can't fucking wait.

predict that Addicted will be like Addicted.

Like Ki was like Ki.

Just my two cents. :P

Yup, it's going to be Addicted.

It was a hard hard record to make, trying to pay homage to the stuff people liked in the past and make it sound a bit nicer...it's hard though, this style of music gets pretty dense pretty quick. I think it sounds nice though.

It's funny, just like Deconstruction is there to appease the heavy crowd (although of course I still love it) Addicted is here to appease the 'wall of sound melodic' fans. I think it will deliver what theyre looking for. I think it's one of my best.

I look forward to tackling Deconstruction so I can move on. It's not that I dislike any of this stuff, it just requires me to revist headspaces that for the most part were established at different times and places, Yeah, Addicted is an UBER positive , uber intense dance party of awesome sauce, but I'll tell ya, working on a party for 4 months is enough to wear even the most party-savvy folk down, let alone me. (I don't usually party) so when I had to do some recalls on the mixes yesterday, it was like THE PARTYS STILL GOING BRO!!! WHERE'D YOU GO WHOOOOOOOO!!!! YEEEEAHHHH!!!! boomboomboom....

And soo I spent today writing for the 4th record...super chill, kind of melencholy rainy reverby acoustic songs with nice melodies.

Addicted is a MANIC dance record of intense positive vibes. I think it's great, but I'm not really manic, so I'd have to psyche myself out before each mix...I'd put on action films and dance around the studio like a maniac, trying to get the right adreneline up to connect with the tunes. Again, the tunes were always there, I just grabbed them out of the air and tried to do them justice...

Get ready folks, it's a teeth gritting, dance-able, crushing pop explosion.

....and it's finished! Whew... I couldn't handle much more uber positive, teeth gritting, spiritual crush...I needs me a little melencholy now. Falls coming.

Deconstruction needs to be done. I considered just leaving it, but I figure the fastest way out is through, so damn the torpedos...it's written, and I know what to do, so I go to LA in 10 days to start.

Album 4 though...can't wait.

Addicted is what I have been trying to do with THAT style since the beginning. Enjoy!

I must admit I'm a bit confused by the recording process (mix --> to master --> back to mix?), but it seems like you're finally finished with this beast!

It's been interesting reading about your progress. Most recording artists don't seem interested in what makes them tick, let alone comfortable enough to share the answers they find on the journey.

Thanks for that.

When I read this I pictured your studio monitor with a big face yelling and screaming at you lol. Man, I am tired.

Will be a Summer album for us down in the southern Hemisphere, going through body adjustment of cold to warm, joints cracking and loosening up, immune system finishing off battles with colds and flu's. Time to WAKE and greet the sunshine, to action (with Addicted).
