Devin Excuse me to interrupt (disturb) you in your work but I have some questions like all the fans here... What is the final addicted album tracklist? The mix is finished now? Are you proud of it? All the samples video of Addicted for the moment are fantastic for the moment. A teaser soon like ki last time??? More important news? :coffee:

I dig the artwork

And I also notice that one of the songs is called "Hyperdrive."

Whoa. Whoa. WHOA. The last song title... Om. Am I thinking what I'm thinking?

Are you thinking of meditation and chanting "Om"? That's what I'm thinking.

I wonder which of these songs were originally called "Nibz". Still got that chorus stuck in my head from the vocal tracking video. Can't wait to hear the finished product.

Noticeably absent from the final Addicted track list is Resolve. I can't even count how many times I've listened to that 59 second clip on Youtube! I'm really hoping that this was just renamed and not dropped from the album entirely...

I doubt OM is the same OM from the Christeen EP. (or is it? 0.o) And I really hope Resolve hasn't been dropped. That would be really sad news :(

What a surprise I found waiting for me on myspace! That blog entry was great...some more hints about what Devin's got in store for the future as well as more info about Addicted. And the fact that he kept the song title "Bend It Like Bender" has me smiling like a doofus (regardless if it and Futurama are related or not).

The cover art is so much the polar opposite to that of Ki's...Ki was dark and had very organic line art and the faux 3-D look...Addicted has a bright photograph of 3-D objects, which seems to stand for something more than it seems (as Dev seemed to mention about the album itself). RGB...a man-made color scheme? And green is left intact as red and blue have been whittled away to make purple (the color of the color wheel that is considered to be the least abundant in nature). Hmm... 8)

Red = Strapping/anger. Overused because he was addicted to it for years. But he's used it so much it's no longer as potent as it was.

Blue = DTB/sadness/happiness. Little less used, broke off before we got to know it as well as we would've liked!

Green = DTP – something brand new, mysterious, represents the future, he hasn't tried it yet so he doesn't know how it'll turn out in the end, but the others are worn away so this new thing is worth trying... getting over your addictions and being true to yourself?

Purple = ? all the stuff we don't know about... we don't know everything, we don't have all the options in front of us, we make do with what we have.

Awesome cover, ripe with interpretation... the concept is very, very clever.
