If you ever want to die of a heart attack, but have it be pleasurable, and you don't like soul food, you should go see Behemoth live. Fucking rage!

Behemoth's bassist is the guitarist/vocalist in the band Vesania, who are also pretty ridiculous shit your pants. Not as much as Behemoth, but still worth the laundry bill: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1o7e3vrmTc

Penis metal? Ooh, that's a new one, and I'm adopting it. I think it's rather appropriate in many cases :)

Rush's Power Windows album. Underrated (even amongst Rush fans) flawless gem of an album, and to this day remains my absolute, all time, untouchable favourite album by anyone, from the day of it's release in 1985. I give it a break, sometimes for years at a time, then I wack it on and it never fails to send shivers up my spine, and to have me saying 'My GOD, it just sounds so FUCKING GOOD!' Just magnificent. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, treat yourself to this piece of perfection. Just don't expect to love it on 1st or 2nd listen.....

I am listening to Days of the New...at the behest of a good friend. I just can't get past the vocals....and the blues-iness. I am forever plagued to only like extremely melodic, totally dissonant, ambient or insanely heavy music for the rest of my life. Thank you Devin! :P

What a coincidence - I was just talking to my brother last night about how good that album that is, and how it seems pretty under appreciated  The Big Money video rules, it's very 80's. Awesome.
