Ki is awesome !! I love the real drums on this one, somehow ziltoid's drum machine didn't do it for me (could just be me cos im not 18 anymore). Love the slow bits and the ambient kybrds in the bgd. and ofc it's so good to hear my fav musician's voice again Can't wait !

I've listened to Ki a couple of times, and let me tell you, it's just a wonderful moment spent with an incredible composer! This record will take more than this to be known, so I won't speak too much about it. But Dev...Seriously... It's just so fucking cool what humans can accomplish! If this record is only the starting point to some elevation of consciousness... I dunno what i can expect from the three other records haha

First post here, I'm just a drive-by-reader... Anyway: I liked the mellow parts, clean guitar, clean drums, good. The rest... well. To sum it up with Primus: "Sailing the seas of cheese". Man, if I'd like to listen to cheesy musicals, I do listen to cheesy musicals but not to a DT record (or even four of them). Yeah, it's just a small teaser, so i could be wrong, but i constantly had to lower the volume because I felt kinda embarassed...

Weird how Dev posted that thing about competitiveness, and now there's a change in the way big business is operating, and the way they're paying directors. Psychological experiments have shown a 'risk factor' built into competitiveness, the more success you have the bigger risks you take, but will inevitably take a bigger fall. With failures, risk management come into play, and may pay out in the long run. This is why the reward system has to change in the stock markets.

That's fair enough, we all have our own tatses.

I doubt you'll find too many people around here who will share your opinion, however.

I could be alone here, but I actually don't want too many teasers or explanations before Ki is out. I find that it spoils stuff for me. And as for explanations or the thought process or inspiration involved or the "making of" an album I seriously would not prefer to know it. I just want Ki and just like a picture can speak a 1000 words, i'd like Ki to do the talking. Sometimes a certain degree of mystique is needed for every musician and as a dev fan I've come to respect that and don't wanna be screaming - "omfg ! give us more webisodes and shit". But again, I think I could be alone here.
