Can anyone pick out who is actually in that vid? The Beav is ever so slightly obvious and I think Devs in it but I dont know about the others.

It's hilarious at the end when the eye falls off.

And I think that nice ambient bit right at the end may probably be a sample of new stuff. It doesn't sound like anything Devins done before.

Using:

Eric Johnston Strat
American Fat Strat (my old red one)
Grey Strat (Terria Strat)
Gretsch White Falcon (original 50s reissue, dynasonics and bigsby)
2 Les Paul Customs...one white with EMG 81s, one Black with Gibson 59s
ESP Tele (Dev model) with 81s
ESP Ronnie Wood Tele with Gibson 59s
ESP Flat black 7 string 'The Spacebeast' with emgs
Peavey Fretless 5 String bass
Sadowsky 5 string with EMGs
Godin Freeway SA midi guitar
Yamaha Compass Acoustic

There are so many moods on the record, that I want the best sound for each.

AMPS:

Marshall JCM 800 50 watt
Mesa Dual Recto w 34s
Fender 57 Twin Reissue
Relic 59 B'man
Line 6 POD XTlive and X3
Orange bass head
Sans amp RBI

A bunch of odd mics and cabs.

What are you using the POD's for? If you happen to use them for distortion/amp modeling would you give out some settings perhaps? :)

Awesome contrast!!!! Dev style ESP tele???
-\m/ the terria grey strat \m/-

Hmmmm

I wonder, PODlive and XT3, direct out???
i use a PodLive direct out, trying my hardest to pull a good sound. and i know meshuggah use em direct out and pull a mean tone....
i found that effect units that have Heads and Cab Emulators, as soon as you put em through a real head or cab it sounds rather wierd, how did you use em on the recording?

Ah, touché  Really a shame because I really like the songs. Thanks are owed to those that ripped and mixed the album from the Guitar Hero files and made it listenable.
