Yeah, I hope there will be better AI and less bugs, Stalker is great, but has more bugs than a beehive.

Lollerblades. So true. I love Eastern European atmosphere, so it was easy to keep playing this game, but the ridiculous AI and bugs made it a burden to get through some of the missions.

My favourite AI bug is with zombies - they usualy make their typical zombie stuff, slowly stumbling around and moaning - but throw grenade at them and watch as they turn into bunch of Bens Johnsons :). That one where you find the guy who should give you assignment dead, tucked in the closet (because game couldn't be arsed to spawn the guy in proper place) is also good. Still great game, though. Best atmosphere I've ever experienced in game I think.

Nice to hear Mass Effect will be for PC. I'd play something good and lenghty, without swords and dragons.

I cannot wait for Metal Gear Solid 4...After seeing a few more videos today, I can honestly say it looks like it might be absolutely astounding.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I saw the new game trailer earlier today and I don't know if I can wait a month for the game's release.

Looked around for some info about Mass Effect and strangely it looks like it contains mainly cutscenes and generic third-person shooting sequences (somehow looking at back of my character kicks my immersion right in the nuts). Is there any first person game, where I could explore various interesting places, meet interesting people and sometimes shoot at them? With lotsa rifles. For longer than usual 10 hours. For teh PC.

Looks like simple requirements, but can't find any game like that, except Stalker.

Except the 'lots of rifles', check out The Elder Scrolls III and IV: Morrowind and Oblivion. I think they're quite like Stalker, but in a fantasy-setting. Personally I like Morrowind better, seems more varied than Oblivion. But Oblivion is the better looking one.

I suggest playing Mass Effect man. The story is very enthralling and just sucks you right in.

And I want a STALKER book :(

Yeah, that's what I thought. Even read somewhere that Stalker is "Oblivion with guns". Maybe I'll check it some day, though still prefer something less fantasey.

And for now I've installed Crysis again and I'm playing some custom maps. Found particularly random one, with surreal scenes like planes freezing midair, people vanishing ninja style and stuff. Nice one, realistic graphics should be used to make things unreal.

EDIT: words.

Since I don't have a fancy Xbox360 or PS3, I started playing GTA San Andreas again. On Xbox this time, I played it on PC before. Great game, but I freaking hate the way they wrapped it. Not that I have a problem with black people, I'm just not down with the whole hiphop 'culture' :furious:
