I just tabbed these out and thought someone might be interested.

Code: Select allDev's little lead in the intro.
E--------------------------------------------|
C--------------------------------------------|
G--12--11h12p11h12-16------------------------|
C--------------------------------------------|
G--------------------------------------------|
C--------------------------------------------|
End
E------------------------------------------|
C------------------------------------------|
G-12--11h12p11h12-17--17-17-16-16-16-------|
C------------------------------------------|
G------------------------------------------|
C------------------------------------------|

And

Code: Select allThe chords to Dev's harmony in the middle section (at about 2:55 in the video above)
E------------------------------------
C------------------------------------
G-----------------------------------
C-12--14--11--7--11--------------
G------------------------------------
C-12--14--11--7--11--------------

I'll do the other little harmony part that comes after the above one later.

Not much, but have fun. :D

Neat! If everybody contributes little bits like this then we will be laughing, musically.

Quick, vaguely related question:

How would you best play those final chords? I am just not sure what to do with my fingers when it comes to muting one string between two unmuted strings. Bear in mind I am just starting to play guitar, and that this is the perfect example of something I havent figured out yet.

Thanks!

Personally when playing octaves such as that I position my forefinger in such a way that it rests against the middle string, yet still frets the string above it.

Keep practising! We all had to go through this at some point, and the benefits outweigh the effort :D

Thanks the-fluke!

I tried it just now with three fingers and it seemed to work ok. I think maybe when I was practising it 'unplugged' it sounded worse than it actually was, as when I strike the dead string it kind of 'pings'.

Cool, this is one more thing for me to practice!

the 'pinging' is a harmonic..thing, i'm never good remembering the terminology.
either way, if you hold your finger over the 12th fret but don't push down and strike the string then you'll get the 12th fret note (take your finger off once you strike the string to make the note less muffled and sustain longer)
same thing happens on 5 and 9 and other frets i can't recall right now, but those 3 are the main ones.
and then there are pinch harmonics which are even more fun.
