No, but after this experience I definitely want to! This is the third part of Chan-wook Park's revenge-trilogie, right?

it's all so unbelievably well done in oldboy. violence, love, revenge, very good soundtrack (reminds me sometimes of amélie soundtrack!!!), good actors and this TOTALLY OVER THE TOP story!!!!

i also haven't seen "sympathy for mr. vengeance", should be good too. but i've seen J.S.A. (joint security area) by park chan wook - also a quite nice film.

Crash.

What can I say, I still feel kinda undecided about some parts of it. But even though I refused to feel that way - just because of what I just said about being undecided - the last minutes with this hypnotic mix of the music and all those pictures really grabbed me.

That's all I gonna say about it for now. Anyone else who saw it?

Yeh the soundtrack was quite beautiful also.

I just saw Takashi Miike 'Masters of Horror' Episode and wow no wonder it got banned. Its full of brutal torture and dead baby feutuses. Scared the crap outta me.

I'd definitely like to see it again. Not within the next days, but when I don't remember too many details and maybe have someone around with whom I can discuss the theories and statements of it. And since there aren't that many films of which I can say that I want to see them again and that they occupied me for more than a few minutes after watching them, I certainly don't dislike it, to say the least.

This is not your first post that makes me think of you as a real movie maniac. Which genres, periods of film-making and movies are among your favs?

The Last King Of Scotland - Very good, see it.

Blood Diamond - Even better, definitely see it. Its quite long at 2 1/2 hours, fidget arses may stir.

Saw III, and it sucked bad. This is not a horror movie, just a lame attempt to make your gut twist. The end twist was quite obvious too. And they leave room for ANOTHER sequel....arrrgh

...which is, according to the IMDB (click it), already in pre-production.
