So it occurred to me that there's only a very small number of bands I've seen live more than once and I'm Interested as to whether everyone else had many repeats. The only ones I can think of are:

Eh, I'm only a casual fan at best- Wasn't aware there was a shitload of issues with the lineup back then.
I saw them by chance the first time on SikTh's farewell tour at Sheff Corporation back in 2007. Absolutely spot on live, as you'd expect. Second time was in 2008 at Rio's in Leeds while celebrating a mate's 21st, needless to say I was a bit wasted but from what little I remember of that gig they were pretty class.

I've never seen a band more than once. New Zealand's just that isolated.

...and I have it in my head that once people have been here they never come back. I suppose if I wanted to, I could see many NZ metal bands over and over, but for the most part I avoid going to live shows unless it's a band I really really like.

So I've only seen Opeth, Dream Theater, and Devin. I got to miss Katatonia thanks to work.

Oh and I saw Metallica once at our Big Day Out festival back in ...'04 (I think?). Because I had free tickets.
