Mog Ruith is an in-hiatus band from Canada, a member of which (Sergey) is a friend of a friend. Sergey sent a copy of their one album Catatonic Stellar Illusions to my bud awhile back. We checked it out and were very impressed. Check 'em out.

I mentioned this band before in a different discussion, just thought I'd put it here in its proper "recommendations" section!
DESTRAGEis the band. They're from Italy, but the lyrics are in English. And they have ties to Canada...(i.e. I'm the girlfriend of one of the guitarists)

They are just in the process of recording their second album, which should be released by the end of this year. The new stuff is going to be amazing if you're into the hard-crazy-blow-you-mind-away-with-super-fast-solos metal!!!
