Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

People are strange...when you're a stranger.
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're down

Women aren't scary, they just have to be handled....delicately.

Ryokuchi - Shinsho

A 2 peice (bass/vocals and drums) tribal doom band from Osaka Japan. i saw these guys live earlier in the year and they blew me away. This album is just under half an hour but dear god is it brutal. Theyre a very unknown band outside of Australasia and they deserve a shitload more praise. The drums are psychotic, the bass can be calm and gentle or fuzzy and heavier than Bruce Lees balls. The vocals sound like the singers getting mauled by a bear. The arrangements of the music are brilliant and unpredictable, a listen that doesent get boring. You're welcome ;)

No idea whether this album has already been mentioned or not, but I highly recommend listening to Dir En Grey if you're a fan of not-so-subtle music.

Vulgar is possibly the best album to get someone into the band. It covers a wide range of musical viewpoints and the instrumentalists are awesome. The guitars have a twangy, messy tone which really adds to the insanity of the music, as well as the fact that Kyo [the vocalist] sounds like a madman with a microphone.

Despite all of the madness, their musicianship is admirable. They pay attention to detail and the music is produced very well.

Oooohhhhhh goooooodd - another gay one-man extreme metal riff soldier? As everyone and their lesbian moms know, pink is the new black, which makes gay…the new straight? Not exactly, but Austin, TX’s Assacre is bringing a new aggressive fight to the proverbial homosexual table. One gay dude playing serious metal riffs that rival those of the almighty Dethklok, backed by a beat machine right out of the darkest carnage of hell. And he’s got a tune called “Gayer Than God”, so there’s that as well.

Assacre, aka Ben Aqua, has performed with The Locust, Lightning Bolt, The Sword, Cattle Decapitation, MetalSucks faves At All Cost, and many, many more. This guy can throw down, and you sorta gotta give it to any one-man metal band, right? Well…almost any.

Puttin' aside all the hype-goofy-homo-schizo-one-man-metal-band, sounds great, pretty much like Devin's work.
