Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Reliving my youth. Was always vaguely reminded of this track when listening to Echo and Assignable from Project EKO.

New album on Friday... so excited. For my money these guys are currently the best and most interesting metal band around at the moment.

Note to self: buy that original copy of Cryptic, as the remaster is awful. Hmm, and add RIP and Countdown to the list too!
Glad I already got originals of Peace Sells, So Far So Good, and Youthanasia. I can't help but wonder how they managed to lose all the punchiness of the originals, especially with Peace Sells and Youthanasia. Is it just the over-compressing that's done in modern CD mastering?

Edit: Yep, definite increase in volume between the two.

Original above, remaster below.

The remaster's nowhere near brickwalled, though. Could that difference be enough to take away the punchiness of the original? Or did they mess up something else? :?

I spent the week in the Florida Keys at a Marine Biology camp chasing sharks and sea turtles so i figured listening to the Ki Album would be appropriate.
