Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

I need to find my "Fragile" album. Peter Gabriel is a genius....that album was the PERFECT soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ.
I haven't heard "So" though....looks like I have a new conquest.

Get So. You haven't lived until you've heard "Sledgehammer" :D Probably his most popular CD, although all of them are winners.

LOL....I am a child of the 80s. I have heard Sledgehammer. I hate it.

I like Peter Gabriel when he goes off and gets experimental, forgetting about the radio. No offense. :D

Came across a concert of Peter's a few months ago on TV. Phenomenal! This song re-ignited my interest. I believe it's from the Growing Up Live performance? Think I'll order it.

Ohhh, that Tony Levin. 8)

Oh I only meant So was probably the most popular. I'd say that Security is my all time favorite, but Melt is not far behind, it's a surprisingly dark CD :)

Aaah right, so you lived through the Sledgehammer/Sledgehammer video years  His musical well-roundedness is pretty impressive - this guy who did Sledgehammer also CD's like Passion. Super win, I would agree with you.

You have to get Growing Up Live! The DVD quality is in a class of it's own. One of the best filmed concert DVD's I've ever seen. Plus, he rides a bike on stage. That should be reason enough :D And there is WICKED footage of Tony - he's got this big ass black cape on, and there's lots of shots of him from below, so he just looks God-like. And check out those Funk-Fingers! :P

Soo... can anyone tell that I'm a huge Peter Gabriel nerd, yet? :o

I eventually gave a more attentive listen to Queens of the Stone Age, and well, it's damn good. Make It Wit Chu kind of annoyed me when it was kind of overplayed a few months back, uh, years maybe, but the whole discography is nice.
Some slightly progish tunes (Better Living Through Chemistry, Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died) are great, as well as the more "moody" (White Wedding, Into the Hollow, etc).

Cool! You won't be disappointed. Extra points for the DVD since all the male band members are bald.

The Omega Experiment- Karma
Motion (Comp. demo almost finished!)

Comcast Music Choice channel "Soundscapes"....awesome. I woke up today and my cable box was still on this channel...it was raining, and dark. So, inspired.....I got out of bed, grabbed my telecaster, and played echo-ed clean guitar for about a half hour while looking out the window...listening to the rain. Perfect.
