Those of us traveling greater distances should crash a hostel or something. :D Imagine a hostel filled with Townsend fans.

haha yeah that sounds pretty epic if u ask me! i believe my mate has found some sort of ben&breakfast we are supposed to stay in ;) but im sure we could all try and gather some fans and hit some pubs while we're at it!

These ideas are already on the cards and will almost certainly happen, just waiting now for the other two shows to be officially announced before planning accordingly :D

AWESOME! :D

...especially considering I'll probably be traveling alone. Slightly scary. :P

I hear you, I am travelling from far across the omniverse myself, and it's going to be intimidating... but righteous simultaneously.

Don't worry, it's not too shit here :D I'm always at the end of the phone if it all gets overwhelming when you arrive...Just make sure you hide your valuables!

Oh, I know where to hide things. I figure if someone's going to try and steal from me, I better at least get felt up in the process, y'know, make them earn it.

Someone remind me to pack CS spray.
Y'know, just in case.

Violet, get your rape cape on.

Edit: Alas, I cannot spell for shit today.

I was thinking about these shows today. Specifically, how I could increase hype if I actually had the fucking tickets instead of when TicketWeb casually decides to send them.

I think I can sleep again when I have the tickets under my pillow.
If I am going, I will be traveling alone as well. I think it's like 9 hours on a boat.
But it will be worth it.

Depends where you're sailing from. It's an 11hr overnight sailing from Rotterdam into Hull but the train down will be expensive, only 2hrs or so from Calais into Dover, but the train up into London will also be a wee bit pricey.
You might be better off on the Eurostar actually as it'll get you straight into St. Pancras station but I'm not sure how financially viable that option is either as I've not travelled on it for a few years so I'm not surewhat the better option is for you. Whereabouts are you in NL, Sanne?

Thanks for thinking with me!
Well, it seems like Eurostar is not an option. The nearest station is in Brussels, which is like 3 hours away or something..
I found that with Stenaline I can go with the ferry and a train to London, which may be the easiest way.
But I think I have to wait til I can buy tickets for the show first before I buy tickets for the ferry
God, I'm really new at all this travel stuff. I don't even have a passport..

No problem! I've travelled to/from NL a few times, but thankfully for you it's easier to get to London and the south of England than to where I am up north.

Ah yeah the Stena Line/rail deals are pretty good, also in this instance certain flights may also be cheaper than rail/boat fares combined.
If I remember rightly, flights with Ryanair from Eindhoven to London Stanstead are pretty cheap (If that applies) otherwise there's always planes from Amsterdam...But yeah, you may want to get your passport/tickets sorted first, lovely.

Yeah, I made an appointment via internet just now to fix that :)
I am a bit afraid to fly, I never did that before, and I am freaking out by the thought alone, especially when I have no one with me to scream at.. So I think for now I will go with the boat thing.. Although the flight might be a lot shorter.

Hmm, look, I made this thread only about me. Sorry!!
