Retinal Circus releasing a month later in North America

North American release date is set for October 29th 2013"
While I don't doubt there are good reasons for this on some level, it does seem a bit strange in an era where most things are released in both regions within a week of each other now. I fully understand DTP's strength in Europe vs. how we receive them out here... it's a bit night and day. That said, I'm really at a loss for this length of a delay.
I'm buying whatever box makes the most sense to me from Century Media, but I can't promise that the entire continent will remain saintly while the set is fully released and legally available across the pond.
Is there any particular reason? I talked to one of Shining's dudes about One One One, and a lot of the time this has to do with the parent label.
I guess I'm just a bit confused.
