Well its nearly 11pm here. I was out all day for mothers day and expected to come home to good news. Since its still not out I've pretty much assumed it won't be until another source shows up. And that's ok!

There is so much great music I can listen to instead...not that I won't jump all over Deconstruction in an instant though. :)

I'm here annoyed that I can't hear Deconstruction and decide to check the Flashbulb's website for the first time in a couple of months. It turns out he has just released a new album and its already available for purchase and download! Yay for smart, timely digital distribution!

Flashbulb..that name again..What album is THE one to start with? I´ve only listened to Love As a Dark Hallway.

Personally my favorite is 'Arboreal' and 'Pale Blue Dot' is great if your after something more ethereal and spacious. They are fantastic headphone albums.

I've only listened to 'Love as a Dark Hallway' once and its by far the most jazz centred record I've heard from him. The others seem to be more based in soundscapes and electronica.

I love that its electronic music created by a 'real' musician, a trained jazz guitarist. In my life I run into a lot of young guys who think they are musicians because they can program beats. This caused me to have an unfair prejudice towards electronic stuff. Flashbulb turned that on its head for me.
