It's weird, cos Deadhead is probably my favourite Dev track, and I really enjoy Suicide, but the rest just don't click so much with me. I still spin it every now and again when I'm in the mood, but it's pretty rare compared to the others.

Dance remixes, of ANYTHING, should be BANNED, just sayin'. I thought Dev's remix of that Rammstein track was pretty cool, but probably more for the laugh value I got out of it than anything else.

Last time I went out in town I was forced to listen to dance remixes of both Thunderstruck and Bohemian Rhapsody, it made me want to die.

When it comes to converting people to music... I rarely do it anymore.
The exceptions are Gojira for metalheads, and Accelerated Evolution for anyone who likes bands from Foo Fighters to Vai to Dream Theatre to Mike Patton music.

I've never met a person who was let down by either Gojira or Accelerated Evolution.

Fair enough. :P Deadhead's probably my favorite song of Dev's as well.

Am I the only one who wants to hear a Meshuggah remix of Universe in a Ball?

YES.

I'm not one for remixes, normally (just because a lot of them turn out sub-par to the original track, IMO) but that... that would be insane. :D

For whatever reason, I could see Ulver taking on a track from Ki, and making it their own... maybe something like Coast, Terminal, Winter; even the title track? And, Garm on a Dev release would be great... he'd probably lend his vox to something softer (Ghost 2?) but I'm sure he could adapt to whatever part Devin would give him, if he brought him in. This begs the question, though... does Devin even listen to Ulver?

I remember years ago Devin said that he digs Ulver.

You're not the only one. Their remix of Rammstein's 'Benzin' was fucking crushing.

I listen to it on a daily basis. I'll bet Fred and Tom did it in about an hour.

When are we going to get a Deconstruction track? We've gotten 3 Ghost tracks already and a supposed 4th coming via that email thing but not a single Deconstruction track.

I'd settle for a "B" side Deconstruction track at this point.

To correct you, we've gotten 1 Ghost track, 2 Ghost 2 tracks (and that second one WAS that e-mail thing).

Decon's likely the one the label's pushing the most, so don't be surprised if they're a little more guarded.
