I saw Dev play Truth tonight--something I've spent 11+ years assuming I'd never see in my lifetime. Words can't describe how awesome that was. Thank you.

Please headline a show in Chicago, your music deserves a longer set time.

Nerd-core. That's exactly what Dev's music is. I was amazed he played "Kingdom," and Ryan's drumming on that song was awesome.

I second the motion to have Dev headline a show here in Chicago. A half-hour is not enough.

Spectacular execution, superbly sung in all cases. Really a tight show, I am incredibly grateful to have been able to see it! I saw Devin accidentally on his previous tour opening for Symphony X, I had no idea! amazing really, and wonderful to see the difference that four years or so can bring

I hope he comes back and I can meet him and thank him for the music and the words personally some day. hell I'd hire the band just to come out and have a barbecue!

Devin was absolutely spot on tonight! He was in lively spirits and sounded the best out of any tour I had seen him on, since the CITY run. Great crowd response from this sold out show. There must have been like thirty fans screaming his name while he was setting up. He really looked genuinely happy to be there and appreciated the support.

Unfortunately the House of Blues - Chicago has a strict policy of no cameras, or else I would have popped off a hundred shots.

Devin did manage to get a mosh pit going halfway through the set and the sound was superb. The House of Blues is a very professional venue and they certainly had their shit together this evening, especially when they had to conduct ultra-fast set changes to make sure the show ended promptly at 9pm. I guess they had two shows this evening, but they made it work without any technical difficulties whatsoever.

I can't wait until he comes back in the summer (or whenever) and (hopefully) gets to play a full set of his sonic gems.

Devin has to be one of the best entertainers out there. The only thing that could have topped this (short, but sweet) set would be having Anneke there beside Devin.

Afterwards, under the House. I think I may have seen the above person's friend/friends walking away as we were approaching. Anyway, he was courteous as usual, and remembered me from the forums. I gave him an Omega Experiment cd. He reinforced his comment last July and yes, he really does like us LOL. Such a great night.

I think around 6:15pm or so. The House of Blues had two shows that night, so this went on a bit earlier than usual.

This show started at approx. 5:25pm and ended promptly at 9:00pm.

Gotta make room for the second show of Timbaland, ya know.

Well... I have been going to the HOB since the first month of its opening and I have seen cameras taken away or people getting kicked out of shows before (for the camera policy). I've even seen managers of bands told to stop filming their own sets, even while sitting in the sound booth. It is really strict in there. It's a beautiful venue, but their camera policy sucks.

We did get a good security-search going in and I didn't want to take the chance of having to walk all the way back to my car in freezing temperatures, after I already stood in line for all that time.

I did see a lot of people taking pictures, but it was with their iPhone or something similar.

So I managed to get myself into Front Row/Center for Devin's set. Convinced a nice couple of girls to give up their spot by the rail just so long as I gave it back when I was done. Wish granted!!! Well despite the HOB's rather strict photography policy have iPhone will travel. Got some great shots (see below).

The show was amazing. I am still at a loss for words.....well that and my vocal chords are still shot from screaming like a maniac. I think I frightened the poor folks around me.

After the set RVP walked up to me and gave me a drum stick.

As the above posts mentioned we did have to walk around and under the HOB to find where the buses were hidden. Finally, after a 45 minute wait in the freezing cold, Devin came up and spent quality time posing for photos, signing stuff and chatting.

Best night ever. I road tripped from Kansas City for this show. 1100 miles round trip for 30 minutes of kick ass music and some one on one time with the dude himself.
