Did you see the Devin Townsend Project during the Loud Park Festival at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo?

Devin seemed to change set list at the last minute.


Many Japanese fans were waiting for Devin 14 years.
Devin show was early time and only 40 minute, most of songs were simple and poppy one. Some Devy nerds might be disappointed by these things, but many Japanese were very glad of "Finally Devin come back in Japan". I was keeping to cry while the show, other fans also too. This was epic.

Even though the set was short and was more poppy overall, it was pretty cool that you got to hear some older "classics" like Truth, Regulator and Christeen - that's always an awesome opening trio! And Kingdom is a great -jump-up-and-down song. Such a fantastic song to hear live, especially with Devin's clean voice being so much stronger (in my opinion) these days than it was back in the Physicist days.

Yeah, that day was not allowed taking picture & vids by audiences, so it was very helpful that the vid was uploaded by Devin
It seems that many people became Devin fan after Loud Park. Fantastic!

NO. I saw Devin at Jurassic Rock festival in Finland last August with my family
