I couldn't stay away from downloading the teaser. It now sits on my hd and my ipod. Staring at me from the other side of the abyss that are human expectations.
Can it really be as good as everyone on this board says? Might it be as good as I hope?

It's "best" before the purchase, when the item holds the promise of being more than it can be? Once bought the shopper realizes that its just an ordinary item, albeit expensive, and quickly starts building their dreams around something else...

My internets been down for the last few days (Damn BT) but I came back to the trailer....fuck me....that was indeed the fucking shit (Yes it warranted swearing twice as a description).

Tool are my favourite band but Devin's work (All of it - SYL,DTB,DTP,etc) has been pushing them close lately....I think this album may push you over the edge...that's the biggest compliment I could think of for you and this album.

Is this album bringing the forum down? It hardly ever works anymore. I guess that is a good sign.

I have spent the last while listening to the teaser, and I love it.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the new version of Hyperdrive. I like it, but I'm not just sure if it'l be as good as the original.

Gonna reserve judgement until I hear it in full.

I disagree, Hyperdrive is my favorite part of the teaser. I love the original and I know the two versions are different, and when I want something meditative and calm with distortion I will still listen to the original, but I think that isn't really the point of Addicted, to be calm and meditative. I like the new take on it and i have to say it truly ROCKS and Anneke sounds amazing.
