For some reason I'm getting no sound when I view the videos on YouTube... This has never happened before and I've been waiting for new Dev for too long!!! Anyone get any ideas of how to fix? The sound is working on my PC for everything else but YouTube - WHY NOW???

I know it might sound really obvious - But you have checked youtubes seperate volume thing? :P A few times I've gone "Why is there no sou- Oh. I turned it off on youtube" :P

Devin, you have to release this album ASAP!!!! Or at least give us Ki (the song) as a download. I can't stop listening to it. The hidden vocal harmonies, or whatever those are beneath the arpeggios, are making me

I've got a canon hf11, and I can't get the youtube size right, it's not wide enough...(it has some weird black frame)

Crop it to 640 × 360, that's YouTube's default video frame size/ratio.

You could also do 1280 × 720 for "HD", but that'll take a long-ass time to upload (although we would love it).

This is wonderful. The arppegios remind me of parts of Ziltoid. Beautiful stuff.

High quality version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQChbRNRlAg&fmt=18

FYI: You can add &fmt=18 to the end of any youtube url and it will show you the highest quality video and sound available for that video.

Ha! Cool thanks!

...though you haven't heard much yet...

This record acts as the 'intro' of the 4 part story, and has alot to do with release as well...in fact, a good majority of the record is quiet and mellow...It might bore lots of folks actually.

Theres a few crazy bits to whet the appetite for records 2 and three, but Ki isn't really out to prove much, it's dark and quiet and groovy.

Again, I'll post some clips later to give you a good idea, the end of 'Ki' alone is only indicative of a small portion of the music.

Deconstruct is the culmination of all that, but this whole series of records is pretty 'epic' in scope, and it takes a while for the flames to grow.

I love it, but really...apart from a few things, it's pretty chill...

Soon folks, soon.

Well, I'm loving what I hear so far.

Just posted them on the Download Festival Forum, I think a few people on there have gone to change their underpants. Good job man :D

Thats all I needed to hear.

I just like the word groovy.

But hey Dev - If its another album to aid sleep, or at least force me to relax, that's cool with me! Haha.

But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter so much what we all think, so long as you're happy with it. :D Artistic achievement and happiness is priority to what other people think of it, if that makes sense...

There hasn't been a 'series' like this since the original trilogy of Ocean Machine / City / Infinity...

The idea of a progression this long and epic is so exciting. Nobody does epic like you, Devin. And nobody writes better 'finales' to songs or albums.

I feel like such a fanboy.

I LOVE multi tiered releases! This is a music fanboys dream. I'm half expecting the musical version of Watchmen when all is said and done.

Can't wait 'till the ambient album when I can sit back at the end of the tunnel and let it all drift together. working out how it all fits, in reality and personally. Heh heh, sorry, dreaming again. All this and talk of a Symphony on the next Muse album. '09 is gonna be something else for this fellow.

Many thanks again Dev. Hope your tech problems go away soon.
