I fucking love Dark Crystal. It's the main reason why I wanted to go into SFX, needless to say I weed a little tiny bit when I found out two of my tutors made stuff on it

I've been playing Ki at work (when I get a chance in between Kings of Leon and Pearl Jam), people seem to like it. I'd say that although this album is kinda experimental sounding, it's possibly the most accessable.

yep, two copies.

One for me and the other as 'guilt offset' on my poorly justified need to download something I haven't legitimately known to be mine for the taking. (it was begging for it). bootleg footprint?

I say chuck a goat off a cliff and if it brings rain, good for me and my crops.

ditto floating witches and the scientific proof of displacement theory correlated with 'nobody likes witches'. (burn them)

works for climate change too.

so there you go, no more guilt and now I can listen to Ki in peace. (which is lovely and it's being played to death and back out the other end of)

I'll be back for the other 3 tearaways AND the behemoth boxset.

Thanks DT

your efforts are much appreciated

The website you're on right now? I'm in Australia and almost all of my Dev stuff I've ordered through hevydevy.com

What the balls?!!?! Thanks dude!!

Terria will be finally mine!!!

dude if you're from mexico city, there are a lot of "hard" stores where you can find dev's albums as well as SYL, i myself bought infinity, ocean machine, synchestra and ziltoid each in the range of 150 - 180 (for those special editions) pesos, waaaaay cheaper prices than those damn mixups, tower recoords across the city... if you need more info i'll gladly share it with you...

Hey thank you very much mate! But I don't live in Mexico City, I live in province (Chiapas, to be more precise), and there are no Devy albums whatsoever.
There is one Hard store tho (The name's Hard) and they sell a chitload of metal stuff, I'm gonna try there!
Thanks a lot again!

Go Hispanic Devy fans!!

Boy, what a bummer.....you go to bed for work in the morning, then wake up and find out the Ki autographed pre-order is already over. :(

I guess this is awesome for Dev tho.....See dude? Everyone still loves you and will continue to till they die, or at least I know I will.

I showed a completely average non-music fan dude Ki yesterday and he was hooked.....he wants a copy and said it won't be long before Dev is huge. Not sure about the latter.....but I think more people "get it" than we give credit for I guess. However, afterward I put in Alien and he was like "Now this is more like it". WTF?

So.......more autographed copies maybe? I also have to go to a friends house to pre-order cuz I don't have an ebay account or credit/debit card. I will pray about this......

A copy of Ki shall now be sailing over the big blue towards my calloused hands in Scotland come the end of May! Slightly disappointed I didn't get a cheeky autograph but if it all adds up to a tour then I can easily settle for that.

Edit - Just had a thought: do you get the bonkers 3D glasses with the album? If so, £13 for all that including shipping is a goddamn fine fucking deal.

Hey all.

It seems like many of you have succumbed to the temptation to listen to the leaked copy of Ki. If you frequent progarchives.com it could be worth your while to review Ki as it currently has a score of 3.36 out of 5. I know that Ki deserves a score much higher than this (for example Terria rates 4.21 on the same site) so find your voice and let the online world know that this is an album worthy of attention.

Big ups to Dev for his massive contribution to the world of music and for touring Australia multiple times during the late 90's/ early 00's.

hey all , Hey Devmaeister ,
I ain't on here too much these days , but wanted to say that yes....i did download Ki yesterday , and it's been constant on my player since , this has to be
the most moving , atmospheric , relaxing , haunting CD that you have ever released , i was straight onto HDRecords (your ebay store) to pre order a copy , altho i do want the fantastic box set at the end of the project , it won't stop me from buying each album as they are released , call me a Dev freak if you wish , fuck it lol. Met you many times over the years , the most memorable was when my friend and I organised for SYL and DTB to play in a tiny shitty club in Norwich Norfolk UK , Gene had to goto hospital that day for some stomach problem , but played the entire night (in pain) , was an awesome night (1997 on City Tour) , and the funniest thing was some guy was hassling Dev to sign his shirt (which wasnt even a Dev or SYL shirt , it was a band called Epitome , any way , he wanted it signed , so Dev signed it "YOU SUCK COCK" on the back of the shirt in silver pen LOL.
Good times , look forward to getting Ki CD in May , bring it on.

I'm thinking about taking him up on his offer and rebuying all the stuff soon, seeing as hes in a good mood to sign things.... Maybe my first DT / SYL poster!

Yay, I'm having an old dude scribble his name on a cd!

Haha, its better to be on top of the hill than buried under it!

Think he'd sign a shirt if I mailed it to him?

I still have the white teeshirt that Jed gave us in Bend on the offdate of ozzfest. Cartoon figures fighting eachother on a truck

"PUT IT IN GEAR MOTHERFUCKERS"

haha

YES, my socks went right ahead and fucked off.....you should've seen them stick it to the goddamn air.

Loving Disruptr too. Man what a new style for Dev, and it works so well for him. It is real familiar...can't pinpoint it.

This cd gets more and more versatile the more I listen to it.

Thanx for keeping up the true topic.......like I said, lets make a new thread for everyone to tell everyone else they pre-ordered.
