By the way, from what I've heard on the 'teaser' it sounds like how Dev described it. I can hear the tension building but not losing control at some parts, such as the clip from Gato.
Heaven's End sounds IMMENSE. Trying to piece together parts from the teaser is a bit tricky, but I recognised the song Ki right away from hearing that youtube clip.

I tried listening to a bit of Ravi Shankar and I think I can hear some of his influence on Ki. The clean tones WORK. The album seems to have some of the most peaceful music to ever grace the holes on the sides of my head.

Devin, I think Ki is well on it's way to taking first place, right above Terria. I'll have to listen to it first though of course, but man! I played that teaser like 50 times already!

Im thinking that, altho my fave has always been ocean machine....Ki sounds immense but it will have to really be something special to top ocean machine.

The best bit on the teaser for me is the bit after trainfire that starts at 3.10, cant make the lyrics out but the melody is just sublime, anyone figure out what song that is?? I was thinking if the teasers in order it should be "lady helen" but i could be wrong!

Good thing about this teaser is that you hear a very small part of each song which means that when you come to listen to the album in its entirety you aren't sick of one song.
I find that if you get one song released before an album then listen to it to death it affects that song's placement in the final album running order.

Yes, i second that. I had this problem with "Gaia", at first i always skipped it when i listened to Synchestra.

Those samples are absoluetly amazing! I just can't wait till it's june. And im just so excited to finally have a chance to see Devin live after all 4 albums are out

I'd agree with that. I've never followed the release of an album like I've followed this one but in the past have had accesss to like 1 or 2 tracks from one I was looking forward to and like you said it totally ruined the album experience for me. This sampler that Dev's put out is the perfect solution.
