Boy how WRONG was I?! Hahahaha.

But I'd be totally up for it! :D Woohoo UK :D

(or would be different counties with in ze UK? If so, yay Berkshire!...?) :P

You Brits are so weird...You live in a country that is smaller than some states here in the US, and it's like you guys are so secluded from all other parts of your country...It's just weird to me.

Everything is expensive to do here though, my sister lives like, 68 miles from me, a return train journey would cost me over £50. Living in general is extortionate, so people don't travel as much.

... 68 miles?
That's barely a one hour drive (at highway speeds). Get a car. :P

See, the entire reason I want to go to the UK at some point is this;
I could literally hike from town to town, and stay in a different inn every night, and just mix with locals. :P You guys are like a day or two walking distance from eachother, and act like it's the furthest thing in the world. The next nearest town to mine, that has more than 200 people, is a two hour drive. At highway speeds. :P

I'll replace the bell of the shitty church in my town with a 1000x12 Mesa Boogie and loop a hipnotic speech about the awesomeness of Devin. I don't know when exactly, but when I do it, you'll know. Even if you're in Borneo, I bet you'll hear the Voices in the Church.

to those that caught the sample track, of all the tracks....

did it remind you in feeling of another album?

Well, it was particularly different from all the others, though I did see a few Ziltoid moments (especially near the end of the clip vs. the end of By Your Command, but still quite different). Overall, the eclecticism and wide variety of styles and sounds pointed me mostly towards Infinity. Which is a frakking good thing.

Dude! I live in the second most expensive city in the world! I am actually INTENDING to get a car, but like, I'm already living on a shoestring and I doubt my mum would buy me a neon Suzuki Vitara. To make matters worse there is no off road parking near my uni (doing it on a meter would cost me like, £12 a day), and I work in the city central which costs £8 to drive into in conjestion charge and parking is...lawl.

I don't actually like the idea of moving away from this city, but you have to be prepared to be broke all the time for the privaledge.

Yeah, it's mad how your perception of distance is altered by where you live.
I worked in Edinburgh at one point, commuting from Dundee, and I absolutely hated it, it's about 55 miles so it was a 1-1.5 hour train journey each way every day. But then, I've heard of people in larger cities spending the same time commuting every day within the same city. Madness!

I much prefer my current situation. 20 minute walk to work :D

Fuck commuting. Live is so short, I'd rather spend it doing things that entertain me, not sitting in a car or train.

Seeing as I live in a province with about 4 million people, that's three times the landmass area of the UK...

Yeah. My perception of distance is a bit skewed. :P

Well thats what happens when you live under socialist rule! =D hahaha

Seriously though, you wanna talk distance? The entire state of Texas alone has a larger land mass than Britain.

So uh yeah Ki. Instead of countries and shit, let's talk about the preview sample! My favourite was the uber fast heavy part of course. But I still think I'm looking most forward to the part that was played on the tracking bass youtube vid.

Perth - Australia,
id be the perfect candidate to spread DT word here in the worlds most isolated city.. (i can just stand on my roof and yell 'Ki' and the whole population will hear it.) or better still, i can just play the album and everyone in the city will hear it.
well, maybe a slight exaduration but you get the idea.
any other perth-lings here ?
