If you're asking whether it'll be closer to a "prog. album" or an "ambient album," my guess would be "prog. album."

I think it will be a new standard, like much of Devin's previous work.

I had a dream that I saw a show on TV of Dev playing some songs off of 'Ki'.
There were 2 drummers on stage, one was Duris Maxwell but couldn't make out the other one. Duris seemed to be drumming in the style in his video whilst the other guy was blasting away.
Dev didn't have a guitar, he was just singing. There were monsters on stage, or people dressed as monsters. And there might have been 2 Dev's as well
The music was intense with some strange electronic sounds over the top, or perhaps they were Ziltoid like guitar solos. I just remember being really, really excited in my dream, like my head was gonna explode!
After the live stuff it went into like an interview with Dev by some random guy I didn't recognise but I couldn't make out anything anyone said.

All a bit weird. Too much Christmas merriment I think.
But maybe I have heard a sneak peek of Ki, or maybe 'Deconstruction of a cheeseburger'. The themes of collective unconsciousness Dev maybe delving into on that album perhaps explain how I have come to dream this Its a new way to preview music by having the artist make you dream it!

weird whats with everyone dreaming of dev. *i also had a devy dream* i stayed in bed till noon just to finish it. lol it was weird and screwed up. a definate wtf dream it involved dev gene jed byron and a midgit........... yea i dont know eather.



anyways i cant wait for ki to be released.

Oh man, no good could come of that - still a funny mental image though!

It's a shame I haven't had any Devin dreams - but last night I did dream that if you put a picture of Geddy Lee under your pillow before you go to sleep- he'd visit you in your slumber, sprinkle some "bass dust" on you and you'd become a better bass player. I was PISSED when I woke up and realized it was a dream.


That's just too weird - even for me.
