SYL DVD question

just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the sound from the 'for those aboot to rock' dvd. To me the drums are clear as a bell but the guitars seem a bit light on. Just curious

i agree with that statement. And I feel the opposite about the chicken feather album

I agree, the guitars are a bit low in the mix, but it's still probably my favourite SYL recording. Intense is the word.

Agreed, to some extent, but I love the clarity of the bass guitar.

i agree the guitars are a bit quiet but do sound awesome, prob just coz its not a wall of 40 layered guitar parts hitting u in the nuts like the CD's

Hell no. That's Chickenfoot. The "chicken Feather album" is SYL's self titled album between alien and the new black.

Wasnt the feather album in between city and alien? It came out 2003 or something like that.

it's good. not the best sounding DVD in the world but it's fun to watch. i love the poor sap who can't sing for shit on far beyond metal

And also, the self-titled was between City and Alien, not Alien and New Black.
