I agree with that, cept for AAA. Maybe Polyphony/new Black just to add some TNB on there.

Why not have both AAA and Polyphony/The New Black?

Thinking about it we could go on for ages discussing the perfect track list and never get there, everyone has different opinions, but hell I'm willing to give it a try!

they'd probably try to plug TNB more since, its been released not too long ago

anyways, i think they are more likely to re-issue alien and syl than do a best of? it seems to be their trend anyways

I'm just going on what Devin said in his interview (I've lost the link now I'm afraid) but I'm inclined to think they'll re-issue everything and STILL do a Best Of.

Re-issue everything? Will that bring an Alien with Pussycat?

Even if it wasn't finished I'd like to hear what they ended up with.

It would be entertaining nonetheless :P

I wasn't even posting a personal "best-of." I'm just going on what songs seemed to stay within the live setlist rotation, thus being the most popular overall with the band and the fans.

SYL and Rainy are the only two songs that ever survived from HAARHT.

The first 4 tracks off both City and Alien seemed to be pretty big fan/band favorites, not to mention they perfectly flowed together. I'm not sure about Zen, it could make it, but I kinda doubt it.

Aftermath and Relentless seemed to be the ones that survived best from the SYL setlist after the initial tours for that album.

The New Black was a bit controversial with fans, but I think they would include the single (and IMO the best song) Wrong Side for sure. Far Beyond Metal is a good possibility too, that I forgot before. I would also hope for Polyphony/The New Black if there was still more room on the CD as I think that's the other fan fav from that album. The rest was pretty controversial with fans, and Dev even seems to think that TNB was "one album too many."

So yeah, let's revise-

SYL
In the Rainy Season
Velvet Kevorkian/All Hail
OMFG
Detox
Relentless
Aftermath
Imperial
Skeksis
Shitstorm
Love
Wrong Side
Far Beyond Metal
Polyphony/The New Black

14 tracks sounds pretty fair for a "best-of." If I were to put money on the real list of songs to make it, I'd put it on that right there.
