Hey there all! (specially Dev, ofc) Id like to know is my dream coming true... is it true that devin townsend is coming to finland at some festival and blow my mind with great, great music! please answer someone =D

Yes he's doing a Finnish festival, rumoured to be Ilosaari. But he's coming as Devin Townsend Project, not Devin Townsend Band (although the live line-up isn't very different really).

He's also going to do a Ziltoid musical in Finland the day before, but we don't know anything about that yet either.

Devin will be playing two shows at the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, Finland in July.

Devin will perform his Ziltoid The Omniscient concept album in its entirety on Friday July 2nd as a special, one-off world exclusive show. Then on Saturday July 3rd, Dev will again take the stage with the Devin Townsend Project.

Bought my ticket yesterday. Too bad Mastodon had to cancel due to sickness.
Still I'm going there to see Devin Townsend and it's going to be madda effing awesome!

Would be fun to hang with other Townsend fans before the show.

It would be really fantastic to meet Devin-fanboys and girls from other countries too. I could have also offered couch or something to sleep if i would have lived in Helsinki.

Gonna get DTP tattoo soon. I hope that Devy will sign it at Tuska so that I can go and tattoo his autograph too.

I've never been to tuska but they must have a beer tent or similar. You'll find me there in a meshuggah shirt for sure. The one with the "I" cover.

On Friday I'll be around the beer gardens in a Ziltoid shirt with a bunch of other dudes. Just ask for GuyOne.
Saturday probably the same but in a blue Hypocrisy shirt.
Sunday dunno yet. Gotta drive home so I won't be drinking.
