Didn't know where else to post this...
Got off work this morning after 13.5 hours because the stupid nurse who was supposed to relieve me was an hour late. I was furious. Then I missed my bus by about 2 seconds. Again, furious, then depressed, then just exhausted.
I was falling asleep standing up with my iPod on shuffle, feeling like the biggest loser/lonely/misunderstood person in the world, when...Planet Smasher came on. I don't know why, maybe because I was just fucking tired...but I just laughed, and laughed out loud, getting odd glances from the other bus-waiters. I was suddenly so happy, felt so much better because so the fuck what about all the shit that happens...the song was so funny and perfect. A perfect moment in time that was. No other song would have cheered me up so.
