Why are the lyrics not in the booklet - just out of curiosity?

Judging by what I hear, and from the narrative in the book itself, I sense that Hyperdrive isn't necessarily a part of the story.

At this point, Captain Spectacular and co are "whizzing through...the solar system...radio cranked". From what I gather, this song is simply "Cruising" music, the song theyre listening to while travelling in hyperdrive. The lyrics therefore wouldn't add anything to the story contained within the booklet.

If someone would like to explain otherwise, go ahead, cos it puzzled me for a while.

Ask Tracy if you really want to know. All I know is that I think this is the most beautiful song on the album :)

My theory is that Devin didn't really have set lyrics for that song, and that the lyrics are more or less ad-libbed, so if he printed them they probably wouldn't make much sense anyway. As far as I'm concerned, the vocals themselves are more important than the lyrics, so if he comes up with great vocal parts but doesn't have great lyrics to match, oh well...

The song was probably previously made, and he didn't want it to go to waste. I can see why by listening to it, so it was probably appropriate to not list the lyrics since they have nothing to do with Ziltoid's journey

I agree with Rahovart....that was the first thing that I thought of when I looked through the lyrics. It is such a cool song that I would still like to read the lyrics for it.

I assumed the from reading the booklet that being in hyperdirve and just taking in the view put them in some sort of grand "high on life" awe struck state and that was the soundtrack to their trip.
