Hi all,

Just working on a 3D version of everybody's favorite omniscient. Constructive comments and feedback are welcome. Thanks, but I already know that I suck at modelling.

THAT IS AWESOME. Now if you animate it so he drinks coffee then says "Fetid! how dare they present this to me. Foul! they hide their finest bean!" then I would die of excitement. Seriously, a movie of Ziltoid would be more successful than anything on a Titanic scale...But thats something I can only dream of  .

Thanks, everybody! The encouragement means a lot to me. ^_^

Once the modeling is done, I'll set up his rig and actions. Rest assured, I'll do a few short tests with familiar sound clips... and familiar camera movements...

Here's a mini-update. Started working on his dinosaur brow-plate -- will continue to tweak:

Thanks!! ^_^

Another mini-update: hair! And it will sway just a tiny bit during animation. Plus, I added him some Fry eyelids. They can be adjusted and/or removed.

Next up: shoulders, arms, hands, and cape.

Hi everybody,

I've laid the groundwork for the torso, cape and arms w/gloves. It's just a first pass... I'll continue to tweak until the mesh is on-model while still low-poly enough for me to animate comfortably.

Next up: taking a break from modeling to build the rig! Then, back to more tweaking/massive restructuring.

Not seen: more polys to the hair, so that it will bend like in the official artwork.
