Either or, really. Between the nine primary albums of his.

My first was Accelerated Evolution, and it was the moment that I knew that I was going to love the guy.

I think it was Synchestra for me but I had already downloaded most of his albums already :P But since then i've been buying his albums for my collection and i intend to get them all. Except maybe not devlab and hummer, they seem a little alien to me.

I first heard Ziltoid, it didn't do much for me in my state of uneducation, then I heard Terria and BAM. I was hooked form then on.

Synchestra for me, and that album will always be special to me because of it. Interestingly I had never listened to his stuff via download before I bought Synchestra, I had merely heard Vampira and some other songs on Youtube and also had some Strapping albums, so I just saw it in the store and went for it. I downloaded most of his other stuff after that, and then acquired all of his albums slowly. Man that album blew my mind for weeks after I bought it.

accelerated evolution. back when there was still mp3.com, i was browsing bands similar to maudlin of the well and stumbled upon him. suicide and storm were so incredible i bought it pretty soon after. after listening to it extently for maybe 5 months or so i finally got around to buying terria. after that i probably bought every solo album and then went to syl in a span of a couple months. best. summer. ever.

i think when synchestra came out, he became my favorite artist.

First album I bought and listened through was Ziltoid right back when it was released. I had listened to some songs of both SYL and solo material already before that, but only then decided to try a whole album. Liked it right away.

I heard the 30 second clip of Earth Day on iTunes... I had to own it.

So obviously, Terria. :D Which is probably why it's my favorite.

Ziltoid.

I was playing Counter Strike and some dude named Ziltoid The Omniscient comes into my game and starts spouting off shit about coffee and being the best guitar player ever.

So I googled it and found the ziltoid myspace...downloaded it, liked it, downloaded some more, a bit of strapping, and then got hooked.
