Yo friends, you guys good? All is good here...barring the 5 am panic attacks where the sky is falling that mysteriously dissapates at 9.

Rehearsals are going great, I'll tell you what, the Ziltoid material is insane. After the DTP, I have a pretty solid feeling there will be a new chapter of Ziltoid...there's some very interesting things going on in his 'live' world...I'll keep you posted.

Addicted is on it's way, and after listening to it to the point of nausea, I can safely say ...It's great. Some folks won't like it, but then, the whole point of this 'project' is to give you 4 very different, yet complete unto themselves, musical experiences. There's been a couple of songs released, that are actually not super indicative of the whole record...but again, I really, really dig this record, especially when I follow the lyrics. It's a good sentiment.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't leaked yet, crazy! At this point though, it's got to be just around the corner, and when it does, check it out! If you like it, I'd really appreciate your support, if you don't...at least you know without having to spend money. Finances suck and everyone's struggling right now. There is no pressure to buy.

There's lots of shows and 2 more albums (plus a box set) scheduled for next year. I'm the type of character who can't start his 'meatloaf' until he finishes his 'salad', so I can't wait to finish Decon and the 4th album...that music has been around for years now and I don't want to start the new Ziltoid till it's done. Ziltoid was going to make an appearance on Decon, but he asked if he could do his own record when all this was finished, and we agreed that seeing the music sounds RIDICULOUS with the band playing it, we could probably take it to the moon for 'episode 2'

There's a few other things on the works, trying to get an acoustic, one man show together...getting ready for this first tour, which is us just getting on track, and an opportunity for me to get my feet wet with some good friends...(the other bands are full of good folks)...then hopefully Australia in March, and some cool things in Europe during the summer.

I had a weird week, so I decided to wait till I wasn't sulking to write here again...we all have problems, and the last thing you need is some guitar player complaining to you. Life is what we make it, so life is great.

Anyway, you sure know how to keep our appetites whet. We already know about Decon and the 4th one coming, as well as the boxset and DTP tour.. and whoop, you go ahead and announce what may be in the works after all that. Ziltoid 2 with a real band sure as hell sounds promising. Can't wait to hear some of the Ziltoid 1 material live when you come over to Europe next summer. Just don't over-work yourself...

...aaand now that my nose is brown enough I can stop again.

Crazy stuff going on in Dev world, I can't wait! So excited for this coming year, more Dev albums and a tour? Amazing. And more Ziltoid. The news keeps getting better and better. Thanks for the update Dev, missed ya! And you be happy too, we all need a little. Oh, and a one man acoustic show? I'm dyin here!

Oh, and Dev and everyone else, on a completely different topic.... if you haven;t heard Baroness' new album Blue Record yet you are missing out on some of the best music ever made. Go pick it up. You'll be blown away. Sorry, just had to get that out of my system, I'm addicted (oh!) to it right now

Oh nice, one man show? Sounds awesome!

Damn! The good news just keeps on coming. I'm too afraid to get attached to the idea of a new Ziltoid album coming out. Knowing Devin, the concept and idea will keep changing overtime. Whatever outcome, I'm sure I'll dig it.

I was listening to Ziltoid the other day and admiring once again just how great a CD that is. There really are classic Dev songs on that one and it is on par with his best stuff.

Thanks for the update. So is this tour with between the buried and me and cynic etc true?

EDIT: I see now that I read a little more closely... Ziltoid will not be on De-Con but have his own album! I was under the impression that he was still going to make an appearance on De-Con AND his own album. Cool beans. It might be better to have DTP completely separate from Ziltoid.

That's a satisfyingly long promise of awesomeness - will keep me content until about 2015, I reckon.

Ziltoid is so much bloody fun, this news of a new chapter has made my day. Thanks for all the music Dev. I can't wait to hear what you explore next.

I think it is best that Ziltoid has his own album too. Followed by world domination, and finally getting that damn ultimate cup of coffee.

Good news always makes us happy. Ziltoid must be very pleased to have 2nd album installed in the future.

I can't imagine universe without that coffee lovin reptilian. Maybe he'll finally summon Planet Smasher... who knows.

Well... I guess, we'll have to prepare a solid coffee for the next year and wait for another attax.
