Hello there!

There are discussions about this axe all over the net. So I made this topic to assemble all the info and talk about it. :D
When is it going to be released?
How much will it cost?
What will the final prototype look like?

I really want to buy this guitar. It's epic. :furious:
Peavey PXD series, Mahogany body with a grey maple top, ebony board, V shape, baritone, 7 string, one bridge pickup, one volume knob and a fixed bridge.
For all the guitarnerds out there

We done has been here before!

Any number of those could've just been bumped, really. First one in particular would probably be the best thread to keep discussion to.

honest piece of advice to any mods or other board members, we should break side topics like this away from other threads, it's hard for people to look through hundred page threads while people are saying "you should know better", it would be easier to find this kind of info on it's own, this way we can avoid threads like this

... My bad then. I just thought it might be good with a thread with all info about it at one place.

I'd love to have a 7 string baritone by ESP. The Horizon one based on the SC model...the one Dev used at download 06 et al that year

So fucking sexy!

Yeah except Dev is with Peavey now.
There was a guy on the ESP forum that had a model made that was ALMOST exact as Dev's, and he put it up for sale a few months ago, dunno if it will make it's rounds again but I'll post it if I see it up for sale again

A question, will there only be the V guitar that will be released as a Dev signature? Or will there be other guitars to?

I recall in the first big announcement of the Devin Townsend Project dated July 27, 2009. He mentioned auctioning some stuff. Heres the excerpt:

"I do very often move instruments in and out of my life. From time to time, there will be instruments from my past that we will auction on the site. I’m not a big fan of holding on to my past too tightly, so if you have any interest in some instruments with a little bit of history, they show up here from time to time."

In my book that's way better than any signature guitar. Hopefully when/if Devin decides it's time to get rid of some old gear I'll have the money for it. His signature guitar is really nice though too.
