Oh come on seriously, they only have so much time, let's not waste it with Physicist material. There are already so many classics left out.

Oh come on yourself, Physicist is a freakin' classic too. With the short 30 minutes opening slot, fine...But when it's headlining time it wouldn't hurt to throw in, say, Namaste as an encore. I'm sure alot of people would dig that. Now if Dev still don't want to play Physistuff....I'll just fuck off.

So it's petition time on the HDR boards?
I'd definitely love to hear some tunes of it live. I remember that there were plans for the DTB to play
Kingdom live on the Synchestra bonus-DVD, but finally it didn't make the cut. I don't know why, maybe because they didn't have much time to rehearse and ended up playing songs they already knew from their previous tour(s) inside out.
After having heard some of Ryan's work on Non-Human Level, I'm sure it would be a pleasure seeing and hearing him play stuff from Physicist (ehm, I mean Physistuff, of course!)
(...what a great way of ending this post, with the smiley as the climax)

I really have a soft spot for physicist and think that some of those songs would work really well in a alive setting, but ultimately, I'll be happy with any setlist..it would be impossible for there to be a dissapointing one

Yeah, I'd like to see more Physicist with the DTB.
It really blew me away to find that the live DVD had no songs from Physicist. And not in a good way.

With the exception of Material and Kingdom, Physicist was a disappointment for me. I never was quite fond of Namaste.. So I don't particularly want to hear Physicist BUT..
..having heard Kingdom once live in Copenhagen. That was the best of the evening. Kingdom blew me away. So a little physicist, yes. A small bit. A tiny Kingdom.

Death anyone?
Personally, I would be ecstatic to see anything played from Physicist. Particually any of the first four songs, and especially Kingdom or Planet Rain, although the latter is a wet dream sort of thing like Death of Music or Processional.

i think namaste, material, or kingdom are all setlist worthy.

I saw them play Physicist with Strapping, and IT FUCKING RULED. You assholes who bitch about Physicist are probably half the reason they don't play it, so on behalf of the rest of us, PISS OFF.
Okay, that may sound a little heavy-handed, but seriously. Physicist is good shit. Some of his best, IMO. It deserves more respect, and not just people crapping on the production all the time. But I guess we're all entitled to our opinions, even if they are idiotic
