I knew I was forgetting to do something! post about this show!
Stupid Lupo's and their stupid fucking curfew's. Concerts have to end by 10:30pm on Saturdays because afterwards the club turns into a dance club. I can only assume this is why DTB had an even shorter set than usual. Setlist was like this.
Truth
Regulator
Gaia
Pixellate
Vampira
Yeah, we lost Vampolka (which I was really interested in hearing live).
My only complaint was that the set seemed quiet. I started out wearing my ear plugs (i care about my ears) and took them out after Regulator and it didn't seem much louder. Dev's voice was on fire!! Best performance I've seen him give. Not a lot of banter with the crowd (prolly due to the short set) He asked how many of us played D&D when we were younger, and said something about haveing a new album out (then proceeded to say something about how you couldn't buy it at the show cuz they sold out)
I'm not sure how the rest of the show went, I left after DTB.
Saw the guys when they were loading out eqipment. Said hi to them, talked with Beavis for a little bit. He noticed my Wildhearts shirt and said I should listen to "me and dave's other band" and handed me a copy of "Fuck Yeah". He seemed surprised when I told him I already had it. And even more suprised when I told him I had their first disc too!
and $55 for a long sleeve tshirt? that wasn't cool.
oh yeah, and there are pictures at
